A 21-year-old Albanian has tragically died in Italy after a car accident.

According to Italian media, the young man, identified as Ani Gjergji, crashed into the chions area in via Cesena, early this morning.

It is suspected that the 21-year-old man fell asleep in the car and because of the high speed he was moving at, he veered off the road and ended up on a small concrete bridge and immediately burst into flames and completely burned the car.

The young man was trapped in the vehicle, unable to get out, and completely burned, as he returned to his apartment after a party with friends.

Italian media reports that Ani Gjergji and his family lived for many years in the area of Azzano Decimo (Pordenone), very close to the scene.

Meanwhile, authorities have seized the 21-year-old's vehicle, which has been completely destroyed by the flames, while investigations continue to fully clear the fatal accident.
