An accident occurred this evening near the village of Goranxi on the Gjirokastër-Kakavijë road.

It is learned that a vehicle collided with a motorcycle and as a result the driver of the motorcycle, a 63-year-old man, was injured and is in the Gjirokastra hospital.

The police have escorted the driver of the vehicle to the police station.

At around 20:35, on the "Gjirokastër-Kakavijë" road axis, near the village of Goranxi, the vehicle driven by citizen AK, 49 years old, resident of Gjirokastër, collided with the motorcycle driven by citizen AV, 63 years old, resident of the village of Bulo, Libohëvo.

As a result, citizen AV was injured and is currently in the Gjirokastra Regional Hospital, under the care of doctors.

The driver of the vehicle was escorted to the police station for further action.

The investigation team is at the scene and is carrying out further actions regarding the accident.
