Accident on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thane axis/ Several vehicles collide,

A serious road accident has been recorded on the Prrenjas-Qafë Thanë national axis, involving the bus transporting the Skënderbeu women's volleyball team of Korça.

According to preliminary information, the bus left the road, while two cars collided with each other and suffered major damage.

As a result of the accident, several people were injured and were urgently transported to the hospital for medical assistance.

The cause of the accident is suspected to be the wrong overtaking and the wet road. The Skënderbeu women's volleyball team was traveling to Tirana to play the second final match today.

The bus crashed and ended up on the edge of the canal, while the girls from the team who were in front suffered injuries and some were traumatized.

It is reported that the girls' health condition is good. Only two or three girls have suffered minor injuries but no life-threatening injuries.

Police are at the scene and have launched investigations to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
