11 thousand pounds per head! Albanians trafficked to England, two Albanian
Toni Liko, Klement Gjika and Stelian Bodnariu

British authorities have recently cracked down on a London-based Albanian criminal gang that was helping Albanian immigrants enter the United Kingdom illegally, in exchange for a certain payment.

The two Albanians who have been arrested in the case in question are: Toni Liko, 42 years old, Klement Gjika, 44 years old, and Romanian Stelian Bodnariu, 37 years old.

The trio in question are said to have demanded up to 11,000 pounds per person from individuals to cross the border into the United Kingdom.

After facing the black platoons, the English justice system has handed down its sentence to the Albanians. Toni Liko and Klement Gjika were each sentenced to 5 years and 8 months in prison, while Stelian Bodnariu was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months.

In investigations spanning 18 months, Metropolitan Police investigators discovered that the criminal group had managed to smuggle at least 20 Albanian nationals into London. But suspicions are that the number of citizens who crossed the border illegally is much higher.

The group's raid was carried out after police tracked vehicle movements, analyzed security cameras at service stations, and used surveillance methods to identify the group's leaders.

The two Albanians and the Romanian were arrested on June 18 last year. While the investigation revealed messages that showed coordination between traffickers and truck drivers to organize transport.
