After his death was confirmed, the former Chelsea player was honored at the stadium with a minute's silence in his honour.

The moment of the tribute was chilling as his wife Marie-Claire Rupio was also present in the stadium, accompanied by their children.

Also, the players of both teams applauded and the whole stadium stood up for Atsuna.
