UEFA fined Croatia heavily before the match with Albania

In Hamburg's Volksparkstadion, Albania and Croatia will play the fate of this European, looking for a victory that would keep them in the game for qualification in the 1/8 stage.

But when there are still a few minutes remaining from the start of the challenge, Croatia has received a blow, as UEFA has punished the Federation with a large fine due to bringing a part of the fans to the first match against Spain.

The Croatian Federation has been fined 63,875 euros for throwing plastic cups by fans and 24,000 euros for lighting flares, so a total of 87,875 euros.

The head of the national team's security, Jurica Jurjevic, has commented on UEFAS decision for N1 television, saying: "Today we received a fine from UEFA for illegal behavior. Football causes emotions and is difficult to control, the most important thing is that there have been no major incidents. Throwing glasses and flares are the biggest problem at the moment. It's raining in Hamburg, so as they say you should get a little wet."

According to the Croatian media, it is likely that the Federation will appeal the UEFA decision. We remind you that the Albanian Football Federation was also fined by UEFA the day before with 37,375 euros due to the incidents that occurred during the first group match against Italy.
