The outgoing coach of the Albanian national football team, Sylvinho, spoke at the presentation of Albania's new coach, Rolando Maran. He was visibly moved.

"For me too, these are two minutes of great emotion. We have decided to close a cycle after three and a half years of representing this nation that has welcomed us very well."

I know Tirana and the country very well, I want to thank you all. There are over 100 people working and I had the opportunity to meet them, I want to thank the staff and the players who have done well for three and a half years. The fans are very friendly with the National Team.

"On January 9, 2023, I said that spirit and sweat should not be lacking, and we did that. Even today I have emotions. I want to wish coach Rolando Maran a lot of success ," said Sylvinho.

The Brazilian will also lead Albania for two June friendlies, against Israel and Luxembourg in Tirana.
