Real Madrid, champion of Spain

Real Madrid has been declared champion of Spain for the 36th time in history.

The Madrilenians won with Cadiz 3-0 on Saturday afternoon, but were waiting for the result of Barcelona, who played in transfer to Girona, to mathematically secure the title.

The Catalans' 4-2 loss against this season's surprise in Spain made Carlo Ancelotti's team celebrate another championship title a few hours after the match.

This is the third championship title in the last 5 years for Real Madrid, who will also try to win the Champions League to make this season unforgettable.
