The World Cup knockout phase begins, Canada advances first to the 1/8th

Canada is the first team to qualify for the round of 16 of the World Cup, after a 0-1 triumph against South Africa in Los Angeles.

The match did not produce many chances with both teams trying to defend better.

The only goal of the match was scored in the 92nd minute, with Eustaquio firing from outside the area into the South African net.

With this victory, Canada advances further, where it will host the winner of the Netherlands-Morocco match, while South Africa leaves this World Cup with its head held high.
