Only the signature is missing, the Italian media reveal the new team of Kumbulla
Marash Kumbulla

Marash Kumbulla will be loaned to Sassuolo for the remainder of the season. There is no formalization yet, but the Italian media write that an agreement has been reached between the parties.

The Albanian central defender has not been active for a single minute this season due to the injury he suffered a few months ago, but has returned to training in Rome.

Kumbulla needs to play on the eve of Euro 2024 where Albania is in the same group as Spain, Italy and Croatia. The defender is under contract with Roma until June 30, 2025.

Several other teams also showed interest in Serie A, where Kumbulla has been active in 70 games in Rome and Verona. At Sassuolo, Marash Kumbulla will find another national team player, midfielder Nedim Bajrami.
