The Albanian striker of Chelsea, Armando Broja, is still in the recovery phase after the injury that kept him away from the fields for almost 11 months. The long time without playing football has affected the footballer not only physically.

In an interview, he admitted that the injury also hit him psychologically.

"It was the most serious injury I've had. It was one of the lowest points of my career which also affected my mentality. It was not easy to stay away from the sport. I watched the matches and analyzed myself, and there I realized how much I loved football and how much I want to move forward and do more for the team."

Broja still feels the responsibility that he needs to do more to be valuable to the Chelsea team.

"I know I'm coming from a long time injured and now I know I have to show the coach, the staff, the club and the fans that I'm getting better and who I am. I'm lucky for the positions I'm in, for the impact I have and my impact on the match and helping the team".

The knee injury left Broja out of the national team in the European qualifiers.

But coach Sylvinho has always considered him an important player for the team and is expected to be included in the gathering in the friendlies in March and perhaps in the preparatory phase before the European finals.
