Erling Haaland has grabbed the main prize at the "Globe Soccer Awards", at the gala evening organized tonight in Dubai.

The Norwegian star won the "Best Footballer of the Year" award for 2023.

Haaland had a fantastic season with Manchester City, helping the English side to the historic treble triumph; the title of champion in the Premier League, the Champions League and the triumph in the FA Cup.

While Cristiano Ronaldo has been honored with three awards from the "Global Soccer Awards".

The Portuguese star won the "Best Footballer in the Middle East" award, as well as the Maradona "Best Scorer of the Year" award for 2023, as well as the most voted player by fans.

The 38-year-old ended the calendar year with 54 goals, thus being the footballer with the most goals during 2023.
