The San Siro affair continues to be the center of attention in Milan and, obviously, involves Inter and Milan. The Reds are ready to abandon the idea of the Cathedral instead of the current plant, due to bureaucratic delays. Their moves have not gone down well with the Blacks, who have been seeking clarification from RedBird and Gerry Cardinale for some time. As Gazzetta dello Sport explains, Zhang never managed to get an appointment to talk face-to-face about the matter.
In particular, Steven Zhang is reported to be very irritated. Relations with Elliott had been very good since 2019. The two clubs then went hand in hand on the joint new stadium project. The new owner of Milan, on the other hand, has never responded to the proposal of a meeting to define a common strategy for the Cathedral. An "institutional rudeness" that the Zhang family did not expect and that could lead to the breakdown of the parties. Moreover, in Viale della Liberazione the names of the Rossoneri's possible B plans have increased the confusion in this sense.
DIVIDED ROADS BETWEEN MILAN AND INTER
Milan has three passable roads: Sesto San Giovanni, San Donato, Rozzano or perhaps the La Maura racetrack not far from Mezza. In fact, the impacts on the accounts of the Red and Black club must be assessed first. It is one thing to allocate the 600 million of the Cathedral Project, another is to build the plant itself. Meanwhile, Inter is also thinking of doing the same.
If RedBird decides to go it alone and the Municipality does not facilitate the resolution of the San Siro issue, the blacks will choose to build their stadium in another area. Thus, Meazza will remain standing, but without football. A prospect that few like, but that week after week seems to stick as a solution not to be rejected.
