Bonuci signs for Fenerbahçe until the end of the season

Leonardo Bonuchi will continue his career at Fenerbahçe. The defender has decided to terminate the contract with the Union Berlin club and move to Turkey. The 36-year-old will stay at the club from Istanbul until the end of the season.

For Union Berlin's official website, the Italian said that despite the sporting obstacles, he spent extraordinary moments and was proud to have been part of a special club. The club from Istanbul welcomed the Italian, who will have his second experience outside Italy.

Bonucci will use this transfer to try to fit into Spalletti's plans with the European Championship approaching. The 36-year-old will receive 2.8 million euros in Istanbul.

The Italian will help the defense of the yellow and blue who are fighting for the championship title, together with Gallatasaraj. But Fenerbahçe also fights for the Conference League and the Turkish Super Cup.
