Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said he would never accept a negotiation process with the SP when the latter elected Alibeaj himself.  

" At the group meeting, I stressed that the opposition could never be represented by Taulant Balla. This practice ends.

Secondly, I strongly denounced the mafia practice followed by Edi Rama for the process of electing the President, a practice that clearly tarnishes with its mafia aspects any kind of participation in a process in which under normal conditions all parties should participate, " there is no other purpose but to remove from his offices the man he loves and who commands ", said Berisha.
