Replacing Vangjel Tavo, Kristaq Kiço is in command as prefect of Vlora

Kristaq Kiço with the Greek Prime Minister

Kristaq Kiço has been commanded by Prime Minister Edi Rama, the new prefect of the District of Vlora.

He will replace in this post Vangjel Tavo, who is running for mayor of Himara in the August 4 elections.

Kristaq Kiço is the head of the Greek minority party, MEGA, as earlier he was the mayor of Finic, as well as holding the post of sub-prefect of Saranda.

In his new role as prefect of the District of Vlora, Kristaq Kiço will supervise and coordinate the functioning of the central administration at the district level.
