Democratic Party Chairman Sali Berisha has once again denounced the May 11 parliamentary elections, which he considers an electoral farce and accuses the government of links to criminal gangs.

In a press conference from the Blue headquarters, Berisha released videos that he said showed vote theft.

"Paid mercenaries do everything to justify and serve the Albanians the electoral farce as an electoral process. These, once again, at a minimum mercenaries, who blacken letters, writings, articles and others, are congenital deceivers and unscrupulous forgers. They want to present, they want to find in the universe of farce, islands in which they claim that there was peace in the elections.

Sali Berisha said that Tirana was surrounded by criminal gangs on election day, who, according to him, blackmailed citizens into voting.

"But Tirana, for the advocates of the farce, who try to present it as a crime-free zone, was dominated by more powerful gangs. In Tirana, the Xhabaft gang was operating, documented and presented before you here with all its electoral terrorist activity.

So, Tirana was gripped by a clutch of crime, on all four sides, by serial killers, traffickers, organizations. This is the truth. Whatever Edi Rama does, whatever effort, nothing can hide the ugly electoral farce of May 11, 2025.

The bubbles and puffs of smoke that he spreads, one day with one claim, the next day with another claim, prove his complete failure in masking the electoral farce. He has distributed countless requests to receive congratulations, but the congratulations are not coming to him. Numerous phone calls, but statuses are not posted.

Berisha further said that the final report of this political force for the May 11 parliamentary elections will be ready between June 10-15.

This report, which Berisha has so far stated will highlight the "electoral farce" carried out by the ruling party, will be addressed to all chancelleries of OSCE, EU, and Council of Europe member states.

The leader of the Democrat Party explains in other words that until now, the Democratic Party has been based on the preliminary election report regarding the accusations it makes against the majority.

"We will do everything to have the final report ready by June 10, but in the meantime, we are sending all the documents to the ODIHR mission and other observation missions. Where will the final report go? The final report will go to all chancelleries of the OSCE, EU and Council of Europe member states. The final report will go to all international institutions whose conventions were violated in these elections. The final report will go to all parliaments of the OSCE, EU and CoE member states. So, these are the destinations of the final report, but to keep you informed nonstop, we have operated with the preliminary report, now we have prepared the interim report and we will try to prepare the final report between June 10 and 15 at all costs," said Berisha.
