A major operation by the Police and the Special Prosecutor's Office has led to the arrest of several people, including former high-ranking police officials, businessmen and prosecutors. 

The operation was carried out in several cities, including Tirana, Shkodra and Kukësi, where several arrests were made.

It is known that the citizen Pëllumb Gjoka, a well-known businessman in the field of construction, but also the head of the Kukes Prosecutor's Office Xhevahir Lita, as well as the former director of the Operational Police in the State Police Oltian Bistri, ended up in handcuffs.

We remind you that the businessman Gjoka was chosen by Prime Minister Rama as a strategic investor. But Gjoka was denounced earlier by the chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, as a person who bought votes in Shkodër in favor of the socialist candidate Benet Beci and was rewarded by the government by giving him a special permit for the construction of a resort in Velipoja.
