In the first match against Italy, Albania had no luck, losing with the result 2:1, as the stadium was overflowing with about 60 thousand Albanian fans.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, as well as numerous "VIPs" from politics, business and entertainment, who had filled the stands, were not absent in that match.
