The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, was in Pogradec this Saturday. He accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of destroying the city.

But the chief democrat also responded to the interest of the journalists present there. Berisha commented on SPAK's reaction regarding the Xibraka file, which concluded that Olsi Rama has no connection to the criminal activity cracked down on in 2015. For the former prime minister, this shows that SPAK is part of the Xibraka file.

"With its statement yesterday, SPAK showed that it is part of the Xibraka file, that's all I can say. It showed that now we don't only have Olsi, but we also have Dumani, a member of the Xibraka gang. This is the truth," Berisha said.

He also spoke about the elections, saying that they will go into coalition with the Freedom Party and other parties. According to Berisha, it is the opposition's turn to win.

"In coalition with the Freedom Party and other parties, we are moving confidently towards victory, it is our turn," said Berisha.

But when asked whether they will go on separate or joint lists, Berisha replied that this "will be determined by negotiations."
