SPAK responds to the DP: We have 18 criminal proceedings for electoral crimes

The Democratic Party earlier this month sent a request to SPAK, requesting information regarding the investigations into electoral crimes by the Task Force that was established in January by the Special Prosecution Office in cooperation with the CEC.

Regarding this issue, the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, responded to the DP today.

"In response to your letter, No. 267 Prot. dated 02.04.2025, received and protocoled on 03.04.2024, after verifications carried out in the register of notification of criminal offenses of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, regarding the criminal proceedings registered for electoral crimes, it results that:

1. For the period January 2025 to the present, a total of 18 criminal proceedings related to electoral crimes have been registered in the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime.

2. Out of 18 criminal proceedings registered in total for electoral crimes, 5 of them were registered primarily.
