EU Ambassador Luigi Soreca and Prime Minister Edi Rama

Luigi Soreca has returned to the post of head of the European Union mission in Tirana, and today held a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The meeting discussed the consolidation of the progress achieved so far and the intensification of reforms in the coming months, to deepen the transformation of our country's path towards the EU.

Ambassador Luigi Soreca met today with Prime Minister Edi Rama at the beginning of his temporary term as Charge d'Affaires of the EU mission in Albania. At a key moment for EU enlargement and Albania's EU integration process.

Soreca confirmed the EU's full support for Albania with a view to consolidating the progress achieved so far, to further intensify the reform process in the coming months and to deepen the country's transformation on its path towards the EU. It was also discussed on the preparation of the upcoming Berlin Process Summit in Tirana" announced the EU Embassy in Tirana.
