After the resignation of Dorina Bala from the municipality of Himara, the socialists wasted no time.

The Municipal Council is expected to meet on Friday and one of the two vice-mayors, Pervin Gjikuria and Arqile Bollano, will take over the leadership of the municipality.

On March 29, the Himarë Municipal Council voted with a majority of votes for the candidacy of Blerina Bala as mayor, a few days after Jorgo Goro was arrested by SPAK for abuse of office.
