Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha said that Albania finds it difficult, in the current situation with government corruption and affair scandals, organized crime and drug cartels, to close negotiations with the EU and join Europe.

Using another joke, he added that he should " look at Europe through binoculars ," as he referred to the government as the most corrupt and the prime minister as the most famous in the world.

He added to Foltores supporters from branch no. 2 of the DP in Tirana that Rama cannot even pass Lana, let alone lead Albania into the EU.

"Albania in Europe, with binoculars. I tell you, don't listen to the charlatans! Documents are not easily closed, they cannot be closed. Edi Rama can't even pass Lana. He won't be able to pass Lana either."

Berisha also accused members of the DP structures who have joined Rama's government by accepting high official positions, such as the case of the director of the Vlora Cadastre or even in Tirana, underlining the difficulties of remaining in opposition, or the offers of power.

"They have used and are using the party for personal interests, but this should not happen and cannot happen again. The one in Vlora, with whom I often spoke and we talked, left and became the director of the Cadastre after the elections. The other one who was going to the television studios was appointed," the head of the blue headquarters underlined.

He appealed to Albanian citizens to come to Tirana on January 24 for the national protest, even those abroad if they have the opportunity, to overthrow the Rama regime, for whom he explained that "he has become a world-famous prime minister with the Balluk and AKSHI scandals."

"On January 24, we are waiting for everyone, even those who cannot come, even those who live abroad. That day is a day of dignity. Rama is a black face in the eyes of the world and Europe, he is famous, with the scandals of Balluk, AKSHI, he is famous. A prime minister who defends that he is himself, I make it clear to you that he is himself. The main author, the main architect of corruption is Rama and behind these files stands Rama. Raising our voices is for the dignity of Albanians, before ourselves and the world, that we do not agree with evil. We have a leader of a criminal organization and we never agree with him and this is important", concluded the chief democrat.
