Albania has fully complied with that of the EU as it belongs to Russian aggression in Ukraine, while after the adoption of the resolution in the European Parliament condemning this aggression, even the Assembly of Albania will pass one.
The draft resolution was drafted by the Socialists and it was forwarded to the chairmen of parliamentary groups for consultation. It strongly condemns Russian military aggression in Ukraine and the Russian Federation's gross violation of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial totality, as an act that violates the international order, blatantly and blatantly violating the United Nations Charter, the Final Helsinki Act, the Budapest Memorandum, the Minsk Agreements, as well as a series of other international and bilateral documents that Russia has signed freely.
The draft calls for the immediate reduction of weapons and the peaceful resolution of disputes. Also, through this resolution, the Assembly gives full support to the Government and the positions it has held regarding this conflict and ultimately requires that the causes of this conflict be put to international justice.
Sources Voxnews.al claim that the draft is consulting with the opposition and the Democratic Party will make several proposals in it. The proposals, according to sources, could be linked to the need to accelerate integration processes in the Western Balkans.
The final draft is expected to pass for approval during the plenary session of the Assembly on Thursday.
