The candidate of the Berisha-Meta couple for the Municipality of Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has admitted today that he does not have a high school diploma. But to protect this lack, he launched an even bigger lie: "I can't understand what's so incomprehensible here. He didn't have my diploma, he didn't. There was only a certificate of maturity,'' said Kelliçi, when asked if the facts that have appeared in the media are true.

But when asked by Shqiptarja.com, Brikena Baxhaku, the director of the Harry Fultz Institute where Bellind Kelliq has completed only 4 years out of the 5 provided by the school cycle, has confirmed that he has never received a certificate of maturity.

"There is no way he could have taken it. He has not finished high school. He has received from us only certificate of grades for the 4 years he studied here. The certificate of maturity is received only once in a lifetime, when you have finished the full cycle of high school that Mr. Kellici is not finished. Then, if the American university has accepted him without a certificate of maturity, it is their matter that has nothing to do with Harry Fultz,'' she declares.

In fact, Kelliçi, claiming in an interview with Top Nea that he received a "maturity certificate", did not show any such document. According to the director Brikena Baxhaku, at the end of the fourth year, Këllici declared that she had to leave the country:
"There are many students who leave without finishing the school cycle - explains Baxhaku for Shqiptarja.com - and in these cases we issue certificates of grades and documents others that certify the study until the day they leave. Mr. Këllici has completed 4 (four) years of study of the 5-year cycle of studies at our school, in the direction of "Business", registered with no. Amze 457.

During these years he has an average grade of 9.7. At the end of the 12th grade, in response to his request for further studies in the USA, he was provided by the school with the following documents:

a) School Report "School Report" with the relevant results for 4 (four) years, i.e. certification of grades
b) Curriculum framework 2001-2005 and detailed teaching programs for each subject
c) Certification (TIP) which clarifies about the development in English is used in 70% of the textbooks and educational programs''.

Principal Baxhaku, underlining the complete correctness of the procedures respected by the well-known institute that she leads, explains that "this practice was followed in our school for 35 distinguished students from the period 1997-2005, who after 12 years of schooling in Albania have pursue further studies in the USA, the United Kingdom and the Czech Republic for the reason of curricular compatibility and the corresponding credits. The practice was not reserved for the "vips", but only for those who had decided to study abroad. The practice was stopped in 2005 simply because from 2006 I started the procedure with the medical exam.

As it appears from the statement of the director that "Harry Fultz", Bellind Kellici was never equipped with a "maturity certificate" as he claims today.

But why do they lie again?

''Ministria nuk kërkon kurre kopje të dëftesës së pjekurisë, por thjesht nje vetëdeklarim'' nenvizon Brikena Baxhaku, si nje mungesë proceduriale qe ne fakt ministria duhet ta rregullojë.

Kelliçi has often stated that his brother has been and is his biggest supporter in life, and surprisingly in 2005, when Kelliçi was enrolled at the university, he worked in the student admissions office of the American university. There are strong doubts that it was precisely his brother who, through personal intervention, helped him easily enroll in this university, without having a high school diploma. Kelliçi has confessed that his brother is also the main financier of the campaign with sponsorships of thousands of euros on Facebook.

It should be noted that Kelliçi's brother is currently also a Board Member of the "Harry Fultz" Institute, and a scandal of such proportions casts serious doubt on his position.
