Edi Rama's stance on Belinda Balluku on Sunday brought an immediate reaction from Gazment Bardhi.

The head of the DP parliamentary group accuses the prime minister of " anti-European escalation " and of attacking prosecutors and judges who are investigating the case.

Bardhi calls it unacceptable that, while SPAK is seeking her arrest based on this evidence, the Prime Minister is praising her with superlatives.

"If 1.1 billion euros under investigation are called extraordinary results, then the problem is no longer one minister," he says.

Gazment Bardhi's reaction:

Look at Edi Rama's anti-European escalation. Yesterday he said that anti-corruption has become more harmful than corruption itself, attacking prosecutors and judges who are investigating 11 tenders worth 1.1 billion euros, signed by Belinda Balluku.

Today, she talks about her "extraordinary results", while SPAK has presented transcripts of pressure on witnesses to the Mandates Council: threats of dismissal of family members and offers of money in exchange for silence.

SPAK is seeking her arrest based on this evidence, but the Prime Minister chooses to praise her.

If the 1.1 billion euros under investigation are called "extraordinary results," then the problem is no longer a minister. The problem is the Prime Minister.

The European Union demands the rule of law and zero tolerance for corruption at the highest levels.

This is not replaced by regional editorials or protocol photographs. Europe does not begin in Belgrade.

Europe begins with equality before the law in Albania.
