"Long live Ukraine", Minister Kuleba greets in Albanian from Tirana:
Dmitri Kuleba

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmytro Kuleba, is in Tirana as part of the summit on Ukraine that is taking place in our country. Kuleba was received by his counterpart Igli Hasani, while in a statement to the media he thanked Albania for the support it has given to Ukraine.

Kuleba also touched on Albania's mandate in the Security Council, while saying that Russia should be punished as responsible for war crimes in Ukraine.

Albania and Ukraine, Kuleba said, are two European countries and will closely coordinate their journey to the European Union.

"I remember with special gratitude, the mandate of Albania in the SC in these two years and the way you participated in the discussions about Ukraine and the meeting in the SC where Rama chaired the meeting in an eloquent and efficient manner in 2023. Today I informed the minister about the situation on the front and Russia's drone and missile attacks every day must be held accountable for war crimes, we would like to intensify our efforts in this direction. We appreciate that Albania has joined the national register of damages caused by Russia in Ukraine. Ukraine and Albania are two European countries united by common European values. We agreed to coordinate closely as far as our European journey is concerned ," said Kuleba.
