The voting process for the chairman of the Democratic Party is also taking place normally in the Fier branch.

Voting began at 08:00 and is being held at the DP headquarters in the city center.

Since the early hours of the morning, Democratic members have headed to the ballot boxes to cast their votes in the process that is considered a vote of confidence for the current party leader, Sali Berisha , who is the only candidate in the race.

DP supporters in Fier have expressed optimism about Berisha's continued leadership at the helm of the party.

"I am here to vote for the chairman of the Democratic Party. I am a member of the DP and I think I am following the right path. When Berisha came, he said that death is the law for everyone, but I will not die until I see Saliu higher and higher. He is trying for the best for the people," said a member of the DP in Fier.

The voting process is expected to end at 6:00 PM, while the counting of votes will then begin in the branches where the voting took place.
