Prime Minister Rama has canceled the official meeting with the delegation of MEPs of the Association Stabilization Committee that is visiting Tirana.
In the agenda of the team of European deputies, which includes Alfred Beleri, a meeting with the head of the Government was planned this morning at 10:00, but according to the media, this meeting was canceled the day before by the Prime Minister's office due to of Rama's commitments.
One of the MEPs claimed for the journalists that anyway the Prime Minister had found the time to go early in the morning to the premises of the hotel where this delegation is staying.
It remains unclear if all MEPs, including Fredi Beleri, were present at this informal meeting. The former elected mayor of Himara, now part of the European Parliament, when asked directly by journalists, shrugged his shoulders and did not confirm whether he shook hands with Rama or whether he was part of the informal meeting between the Prime Minister and MEPs at the hotel this morning.
The Prime Minister also does not confirm that there was a meeting between Rama and Beler.
Beleri then joined the meeting with the parliamentary groups late and when he arrived at the Assembly, he found the door closed. It was the staff who then opened the door for him, allowing him to be part of the meeting.
