During a meeting of the Socialist Party parliamentary group, Prime Minister Edi Rama has responded firmly to the protesters' demand for a "new Albania", challenging them to present a concrete project. The head of government called on critics to bring their draft for a "new Albania", although he expressed skepticism that such a plan exists.

He emphasized that the country is at an important stage of development and that the dissatisfactions expressed are simply an expression of society's increased expectations.

"There is another element, which history and those who have shown how the world develops. This element is called the dissatisfaction of expectations. It is the most meaningful expression of a country that has emerged from one phase and entered another. What is incumbent on us is for us to continue. Our plans are on the table. There are intellectuals who say that this EU card is a tired card. The EU card is the card of Albania's history, I have no cards of my own. We are not here to win the number of clicks of the day, we are here to win Albania 2030 in the EU. There is also a call for a new agreement for a "new Albania", there are also souls here who are looking for a new Albania, let them bring us the draft. I am afraid that the "new Albania" will never come."
