The head of the government Edi Rama reacted after yesterday's meeting between Albin Kurti and Aleksandër Vucic in Brussels where the European plan was discussed which was not signed by Serbia.
In a post he made on social networks, Rama said that Kurti did the right thing by accepting the plan and called on them not to accuse him of treason.
" I wish that no one accuses Albin Kurti of treason or forgetfulness, but that everyone understands that today's prime minister of Kosovo has done the right thing, taking a very important first step towards getting out of yesterday's trap. Other steps followed without wasting time ", writes Rama.
The implementation of the European proposal for the normalization of relations is the next step that Kosovo and Serbia must undertake in a relatively short period of time.
The proposal, which was submitted to the parties last September, was accepted during the February 27 meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, in the presence of European mediators. The European Union plan was not signed yesterday by Serbia.
Peace and cooperation are key for the future we owe to our children in this region devastated for ages from lack of peace and cooperation. I welcome the consent of the two sides for the Agreement on the Path to Normalization between Kosovo and Serbia????????????????????????
