The government has approved authorization for the KAYO company to enter into agreements with two companies for the construction of floating vehicles and combat drones in Albania.

"After so long, the ground is being created for the construction of naval vessels in Albania," Defense Minister Ermal Nufi said at a press conference.

KAYO has been authorized to negotiate and sign contracts with two companies, which according to the minister will be Italian.

"The deal is not yet finalized. This will be a boost for the military industry, for jobs," he added.
