The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared today that March 12 will be the day of the spring of democracy.

This is the session where the Mandates Council's reports on Belinda Balluku are expected to be discussed, but at the same time, the Democratic Party has called for a protest in front of parliament.

"March 12 is a big day. On March 12, all Albanians will be in front of the parliament. March 12 is the day of the spring of democracy, the day of the great overthrow of the drug regime. So at 10:00, all of Albania will be in the parliament. We will give the deserved answer to Edvin Kristaq Rama and his gang," said Berisha.

"Today, the deputies of the crime party, led by the head of the criminal organization, Edi Rama, announced what every Albanian expected and knew, that they will use Lubi Balluku as a shield for the thefts committed by Edi Rama and other members of the criminal organization. This is the most serious, most defiant, most humiliating, most insulting act for every Albanian citizen," said Berisha.

During his weekly speech before the Prime Minister's Office, Berisha made a strong call to intellectuals and young people to emerge from the "shell of conformism."

"In this context, I have a special call, first of all, for every Albanian intellectual, to come out of the shell of his conformism. To never forget that the great investment that Albanians have made for his education, that his parents have made for his education, has been first and foremost for him to be, regardless of his profession, an invincible advocate of the interests of his nation, of the interests of his society, of the interests of the public.

I address the tens of thousands of teachers, doctors, engineers, economists, and lawyers of this country on this occasion: conforming to this regime is the greatest sin of life.

Submission to this regime is an unforgivable mistake.

No one should and cannot conform and agree with what is happening. But first and foremost, you, the inhabitants of the house of knowledge, the members of the intelligentsia of this nation, have great responsibilities towards it.

You can't be confirmed because none of you can say that you don't understand what's happening.

Each of you is clear that the head of the regime is using the criminal majority, is using the criminal mandates as armor to protect himself from the thefts he has committed against the citizens.

None of you can agree because you, better than anyone else, are clear that with these acts, the head of the criminal organization, Edi Rama, is closing the doors of Europe to Albanians, is destroying the most beautiful dream since the National Renaissance to this day of our nation, the European dream.

None of you can claim not to understand that when the Constitution is violated, when justice is annihilated, there is no longer a state, but a gang, a parastate.

There is no more moving forward, but only a return to the past. Therefore, wherever you are, in class, at the bedside of the sick, in offices, in enterprises, in factories, and in every place, you must become the champions of your country.

And don't forget that your silence is powerful support, it is the most powerful support for the head of the criminal organization to continue the destruction of our schools, the destruction of our education, the education of our children.

To continue your ethnic cleansing, of intellectuals. To continue the destruction of our hospitals, the destruction of the health system. Don't forget that staying in power is helped more than anything else by your silence. So come out and speak out", Berisha stressed.
