The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani and prosecutor Enkeleda Millonai arrived a few moments ago at the premises of the Presidency of the Assembly, where the meeting of the Council of Mandates on the fate of the mandate of Arben Ahmetaj is expected to start at 16:00.

Ahmetaj's defense lawyers, Henrik Ligori and Ardian Visha, also arrived at these moments.

The meeting started yesterday but was interrupted after more than four hours and postponed until today, at the request of the lawyers of the former minister Ahmetaj.

The lawyers asked for more time to review the file received by the prosecutors of the Special Prosecution.

The lawyers informed the council that Ahmetaj is not in Albania, but assured that he is not on the run. However, they did not reveal where it is specifically.
