Ervin Salianji 's meeting with Gazment Bardhin, Agron Gjekmarkaj and other MPs together with the legal representatives has ended .

The decision to report the former minister came a day after the Court of Appeal left unchanged the decision on the 1-year prison sentence of the DP deputy, Ervin Salianji.

The Court of Appeal decided yesterday (September 26) to uphold the sentence of 1 year in prison for the democratic deputy, Ervin Salianji, for the criminal offense of "false report".

The decision was announced by the panel with relator Elona Toro and members Iliba Bezati and Genti Shala.

After the verdict was announced, Salianji denounced the process as rigged from start to finish and called himself a political convict.

"I am the first political convict in these 34 years of pluralism. This is political punishment, just like agitation and propaganda used to be," said Salianji. "I have not fought a battle to steal and kill, but I have fought a battle against drug traffickers," he declared, adding that he is available to serve his sentence in any type of prison.
