The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, visited today the  Book Fair , which has opened its doors to the public in Tirana , for the 26th year in a row.

The Head of State stopped at all the stands of Albanian publishers in Albania , Kosovo , Montenegro and North Macedonia .

During the conversation with publishers, writers and translators, President Begaj said that in this fair everything " speaks " Albanian, with old and new authors, world personalities with influence in the past and present.

"Congratulations to all those who, with a passion for knowledge and the native language, are significantly contributing to the preservation and strengthening of our national identity!" - said President Begaj.

During this visit, Bagaj also talked with the young readers, while he said that "they love the book, even though they are a generation of virtual life, and this is proof of the preservation and transmission of an early Albanian tradition".

" I felt full of joy from the fact that I saw all ages again at the fair. Seeing all the generations in the house of knowledge fills you with wisdom and hope ", said the Head of State, who praised the Book Fair as a " great Albanian library ".
