The opposition boycotts the meeting of the Special Commission on Territorial
Electoral Reform Commission

Opposition representatives have boycotted participation in the Special Parliamentary Committee on Administrative-Territorial Reform for the fourth time.

"We have given all the guarantees to the opposition to be part of the commission.

Two months were lost that we could have had a product. We asked Parliament last week to change the way the committee is formed, adding a member from the majority to create an unblocking mechanism.

"This does not mean that the opposition will not exist, it will have its eight members. In the meantime, we will start working on this process," said co-chair Arbjan Mazniku.
