On November 24, in a conference with journalists and when Rithemelimi had started the opposition action a few weeks ago by obstructing the normal sessions in the Assembly, Edi Rama appeared blunt.
" We do not negotiate with non-women and with any spokesperson of non-women. We have said this since the first day and it is not new.
Non-Grata and his spokesmen who have taken it upon themselves to turn Parliament into a square to make fun of because of a completely personal problem with the new justice and rejoice in the fact that the burning of the parliament hall is taking place throughout foreign media. This brings something other than scrawling the image of Albania. They have the right to make their own choices, the parliament has its own rules and limitations ", he declared.
The stance against the negotiations with Sali Berisha and his supporters in the Assembly was followed by several initiatives of the socialists, who intervened in the investigation commissions and the rules of the Assembly.
The latter was toughened by predicting exclusion for up to 60 days for those who obstruct the sessions.
Neither the changes in the law nor those in the regulations softened the opposition's position, at least until now, but both the socialists and the Re-establishment, although they deny it publicly, have given ground for negotiations, even under strong international pressure.
Edi Rama withdrew from the condition not to negotiate with the spokespersons of Non Grata, where the most vocal of them, at least with the terms used by Rama in November, is Gazment Bardhi.
Today he is negotiating with the head of the DP parliamentary group, while the DP has given up the request for five investigative commissions and hopes to get two of them.
