In the Committee on Mandate and Regulations, deputies debated a proposal by Gazment Bardhi for self-declaration on whether legislators have used the Sky ECC application or not.
The Socialists have requested that this proposal be reviewed by a working group, which has also brought replies from the opposition.
SP MP Arben Pëllumbi addressed Bardhi, stating what his proposal foresees if a MP refuses to complete the self-declaration.
Pëllumbi: The question arises, in case a deputy will not fulfill it, I do not want to fulfill it, what do you foresee in this proposal? Nothing. Therefore, to make this mature, the proposal that we make to you is to establish a working group to address whether or not we have such a concern. It seems to me that it is a good solution for both sides to reach a compromise, on the contrary I think that the proposal is about a political fight of the day.
Bardhi: I don't think there are MPs who do not fulfill the obligations of the regulation, then with full will, if the MP avoids it, his report is with public opinion and not with the Assembly. This is an ethical standard.
