The Speaker of the Assembly Elisa Spiropali has reacted to the one year anniversary of the terrorist attack by Hamas against civilians in Israel that caused hundreds of victims and many others were taken hostage.
Spiropali says that this war, which has caused tremendous human costs, with tens of thousands of civilian lives, should end an hour or earlier.
Spiropal's message:
Today is the first anniversary of a multiple act of terrorism that struck Israel, with tremendous human cost; tens of thousands of civilian lives, who are the first victims of a war that started a year ago, but that should end an hour or so earlier.
Endless pain for the human hostages still in captivity, for those killed and violated by the barbaric attack, for the victims of the war and for the almost irreversible consequences that made the fragile peace in the region itself, a direct victim of the war that hits everyone!
It is time to unite to demand the return of all hostages as well as to contribute to a fair, sustainable, comprehensive peace that could guarantee security and stability for the region and the whole world!
