The President of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has sent a message from prison to PL members and sympathizers.

He says that tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. at the Court of Appeal in GJKKO, a court hearing will take place with the object of revoking the measure of prison arrest applied to him, which he describes as illegal.

Meta declares that he has been made aware of the initiatives of persons not authorized by him or spontaneous to protest before the court. He asks that no one protest, saying that such actions are harmful.

"Dear members and sympathizers of the Freedom Party!

As you know, tomorrow at 10:00 a.m., the Court of Appeals (GJKKO) will hold a court hearing with the object of revoking the illegal measure of imprisonment applied to me for one month.

I am aware of the initiatives of persons not authorized by me or spontaneous to protest before the court.

I inform you that such actions are useless and harmful.

I have based my legal battle on presenting all the truths before the court, denouncing the non-existence of evidence against me in this political head-scratching process.

Under these conditions, I consider any gathering or protest in front of the court on the day of the trial as a distraction of public opinion to the essence of the case, so I call on you to distance yourself from any initiative for gatherings and protests.
