Prime Minister Edi Rama has expressed his condolences for the death of Qazim Sejdini, the former Mayor of Elbasan.

"Friend. Elbasanli, wise and taciturn. Good mayor and gentleman. He left a mark in the history of the city and a good memory to the many friends he made in his quiet life. Rest in peace dear Qazim", writes Rama.

Qazim Sejdini passed away at the age of 73, while suffering from a serious illness for a long time. Sejdini has been among the main figures of the SP in Elbasan District for at least two decades.
