The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, in an interview for the Voice of America, said that the division has made the party dysfunctional.

Bardhi emphasized that every possibility for joining forces is being considered among the democrats.

"Of course, the PD has been divided these two years and we have realized that it has weakened it and made it dysfunctional, and we are evaluating every possibility to have a union. A joint political project and a joint project against Edi Rama ", he said.

Bardhi was asked about the recognition of Berisha as the leader of the DP and in response he said:

"The fact that who knows who in DP is of zero importance as long as the issue of legitimacy is in court. Before dealing with the history of recognitions, we should focus on what Albania needs.
