Lulzim Basha has responded to the accusations of the leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, who in a media conference said that "everyone knows who the shopkeeper is, he is on his forehead", while he mocked the leader of the DP by saying that "you don't become young by dyeing your hair".

In a post on X, Chief Democrat Basha writes that he is not impressed by the statements of those who have taken the mountains to hide from justice.

"One thing is certain: they have not only run out of time, but also the road. And when the road ends, there is no mountain that can stop you", said Lulzim Basha.

The head of the Democratic Party accused the head of the government, Edi Rama, former prime minister Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta of being in an alliance against SPAK and Electoral Reform.

He emphasized that "when the old politicians of the protracted Albanian transition get together, they are playing something at the expense of the Albanians", adding that they are not only fighting with the DP, but above all with the people.
