The DP's political leader for the Diaspora, Jozefina Topalli, has expressed that she has begun to suspect that there is a regret on the part of the SP for allowing the diaspora vote.
Topalli made the comments on A2 CNN, where he said that these suspicions come after statements by Socialist MP Damian Gjiknuri.
She also said that it would be very serious if the Socialist Party decided to remove this right for immigrants again, with various justifications.
"I began to think, from Gjiknuri's statements, that there is some regret on the part of the government that they voted to give the diaspora the right to vote, then inventing the impossibility of time for the mechanism of carrying out this vote. This was something very serious then.
"I don't have to rush, but it's not that I'm not thinking about it. Let's follow the progress in the coming days, but I hope that the entire legal side of the instructions, practices and mechanisms for carrying out this vote will become applicable as soon as possible," said Topalli.
