The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has arrived at Fier prison to hold a meeting with the former MP imprisoned in this institution, Ervin Salianji .
The Democratic MP has been in Fier prison since September, after the Court of Appeals confirmed his 1-year prison sentence for filing a false report in connection with the " Babalja " file.
Previously, former MP Salianji was visited by other Democratic Party officials.
Currently, the case for which Salianji was convicted is in the Supreme Court, after the former Democratic MP appealed.
