The two halves of the Democratic Party, which both claim to represent the official party, collided this Saturday as to which of them is promoting former LSI activist Democrats.
"Democrats reject the farce of Sali Berisha's elections. They are not only excluded but instead are being elected to former LSI leadership positions. One of them is Santiliano Dule, who in the April 25th election, as his status shows, was part of the LSI candidate's campaign. Today Sali Berisha has ignored the contribution of all The Democrats of Kumanovo, who have worked and sacrificed for the Democratic Party and were appointed group chairman in Berat by the LSI. This is the way it is being acted everywhere, excluded and non-uniting," it read on the official democratic party website, which is still controlled by the people of Kumanovo.
The post was accompanied by several documents, including a post by Santiliano Dules, while supporting LSI's Berat candidate Ardit Key's campaign.

The Re-establishment PD responded by Way of Belind Kulic, who posted the santiliano Dules membership document, provided with The Oblast's firm.
"Today they issued a next letter to another Democrat, Mr. Santiliano Dule, elected chairman of Grupsection No.1 Berat. Bunkeromans are upset that there are elections in the PD and are decided by vote. They prefer appointments, than they're used to. That's how Mr. Santiliano Dule wishes him successes! I am showing you his membership card in the Democratic Party, signed by MP Basha, who is also chairman. Forward for a more united, stronger, more open PD!" he says.
