European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, held a meeting today with the leaders of the Western Balkans at the Munich Security Conference.

She says the discussion has been productive as she underlines the importance of the Western Balkans for the European Union.

Also present at the meeting was Prime Minister Edi Rama and the president of the Security Conference, Wolfgang Ischinger.

"We had a good discussion with Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger and the leaders of the Western Balkans about what they can contribute to our common European future.

"We all need to be more vocal about why the Western Balkans are important to the EU," Marta Kos announced on social media.
