Today, the demolition of one of Tirana's few parks, the one behind the Opera and Ballet Theatre, has begun to make way for the construction of a 65-story high tower.

The Co Movement, which has been protesting the project for several days now, says all sides of the policy are involved in the $100 million investment that is expected to be made there.

"Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta, voiceless and characterless political scarecrow bought by Rama and the surrounding okigarks," the Movement Together writes on social networks.

They say there is still hope for the protection of the park and stopping the construction of this tower.

Last night, nova construction company fadromat started demolishing the park after the National Opera and Ballet Theatre. After the hacking of The Obedience, which was the crime against the city, the cutting of trees and preparing the land to raise the highest monster in the center of Tirana began.

We must not forget for a moment that behind this usurpation and destruction is the entire old political system. First, Edi Rama and Erion Veliaj, co-perpetrators of the crimes against the city. Park protection is still possible. The MOVEMENT WILL continue to raise the voice of protest and will call on its side all citizens whose lives are becoming unbearable by the seizing of public space, the disappearance of parks, air pollution, state capture and criminalization of the economy.

There is no place for both the citizens and the organized crime. Either we win and crime will turn into a bay, or they will win and we will take the inflatables.
